The Burren is a rare and rugged natural ancient landscape in the West of Ireland, home to unique plant life. It is also steeped in history with many ancient ruins & settlements.

The experience is located at our nature sanctuary in Kinvara on the West Coast of Ireland, along the iconic Wild Atlantic Way route. 

We are 2.5 hour drive from Dublin & just 40 minutes from Galway.

The West of Ireland has picturesque landscapes, traditional villages and is vibrant in Irish culture – a stop not be missed!

Explore the sanctuary at your own pace, meet the sanctuary’s farm pets, walk the nature meadow, see the magic turlough (disappearing lake) or relax in our cafe.

– Add a gourmet lunch: Enjoy your lunch in our private high beamed venue room – smoked salmon sandwiches on local brown bread with our home-grown fresh salad and freshly baked cakes (all dietary options available) Choice of soft drink, tea or coffee. €30 pp
